Project Check list



  1. Select which roofing material best complements your home.
  2. Select contractor with extreme care. Require license and insurance.
  3. Plan work when costs will be most competitive, e.g., outside the rainy season.
  4. Prepare for disruption, noise, dust and debris.
  5. Confirm the scope of the work to be completed (including clean up) in writing.
  6. Understand the critical roof areas and how they will be detailed, e.g., flashings, valleys and vents.
  7. The contractor should secure all necessary permits.

  9. Make yourself accessible to contractor.
  10. Do not pay ahead of the material delivery/work progress.
  11. Get lien releases from all parties (e.g., contractor, material supplier) before final payment.
