How we install a new roof?

The Hill's story
1. The old roof is completely removed and disposed.
2. The sheathing is inspected for previous water damage or dry roof root and replaced with new lumber.
3. 30 LB. shake liner is applied.
4. Galvanized pipe vent and W-valley flashing are all replaced and painted to match the new roof color.
5. Roof material is applied according to the manufacture's specifications, and Uniform Building Code standards.
6. Upon completion clean up crews are dispatched, and the premises are cleaned of debris.
New plywood and lumber is replaced when needed.


The contents of your garage is covered with protective plastic sheeting.
(R) The roof is removed down to the spaced sheathing, and new 30 LB. shake liner is applied.
After the shake liner is applied, workman start at the eaves
with a starter course and work to the ridge (High point of roof).
